The German PlayStation Store has leaked 31 March 2020 as the official release date for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered. We also have a first look at the game via leaked trailer.
The leaks and rumours were true! Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered is indeed real and it is coming tomorrow. This is according to the latest listing on PlayStation Store Germany which has been found by COD Tracker.

As you can see from the trailer, the game looks absolutely stunning with modern graphics and it is safe to say that Call of Duty fans will be pleased with the overall improvements. The trailer shows iconic missions from the game including the iconic Cliffhanger.
At the moment, Activision are yet to officially announce the remaster but it is safe to say that it's only a matter of time before that happens, and according to the earlier rumours, it is happening today so stay tuned for the confirmation.
Other rumours also suggested that the game's multiplayer part will arrive to 2019's Modern Warfare. To be more precise, some Modern Warfare 2 maps will be fully remastered and available in the latest title. Whether these are for free or not, it remains to be seen.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered is coming to PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
