ArenaNet took a brief pause with the Living World freebies but they are set to return soon, with the Crystal Desert being the next thing on the menu for Guild Wars 2 players.
Guild Wars 2 storytelling improved gradually over time and eventually reached a really good state. In my own opinion, the peak was reached with Living World Season 4 when we faced off with an enemy so powerful we thought everything was lost several times during the journey.
It is not only the tension of facing this seemingly unstoppable force that made Season 4 so memorable - it is littered with great dialogue, cameos, gameplay and fantastic moments. This season is the next in line for ArenaNet to give away to Guild Wars 2 players at no cost. If you don't have it, make sure you get all the episodes when they become available.
Just like before, the episodes will roll out gradually over the course of several weeks. Episode rotation will happen with the weekly reset each Monday so you can time your logins if you are too occupied to play GW2 properly.
The first episode will become available on August 24 and the drip-feed will go on until September 28, 2021. You can check out brief glimpses of what awaits in Season 4 but if you want to avoid spoilers, you might want to give the trailer below a wide berth.
