Lion's Arch is under invasion once again but this time around it's the cutest one you could think of. There is horde of doggos Guild Wars 2 players can interact with.
Dogs were present for a long time in Guild Wars 2 but they've never been in the spotlight, compared to cats, possibly owing to the fact one of the playable races are Charr the giant felines. They decided to take matters into their own paws on March 31, 2022, and there is now a huge area dedicated to the dogs who can enjoy the players' love in Lion's Arch.
Visitors can enjoy the funny new tune which leaves no room for doubt about this being an April Fools event while showing affection to the gathered dogs. You can pet them or just chill out with any canines you come across. Additionally, you can seek wisdom from the Ancient Canine or trade with one of the merchants.
All of these activities have achievements that are tied to them and they award dog treats. The tables have turned, however, and the treats are meant for you and they are prepared by the dogs.
This funny little twist is just another layer of the chill atmosphere you can enjoy for a limited time. ArenaNet stated we are keeping the dog friends until April 7, 2022, giving us a full week to enjoy and relax with them.
To our knowledge, no dogs have been victims of dev commands so far.
