End of Dragons is approaching and Guild Wars 2 devs are slowly revealing what we can expect from the expansion, including the highly talented voice actor crew.
Voice acting is one of the most underrated parts of any game and ArenaNet folks seem to be well aware of this as they are revealing highly talented individuals have signed on to lend their sounds to in-game characters.
Guild Wars 2 's official Twitter account started teasing who the new voice actors are in early July 2021, and it has revealed three names thus far. The first among them was Noshir Dalal , who you might remember as Charles from Red Dead Redemption 2. While that may be the highlight, Dalal had several other prominent roles such as Sekiro from the similarly named game and Sandayu Oda in Cyberpunk 2077.
Two days later, GW2 teased another star, Erika Ishii , who previously voiced Ana Bray in Destiny 2 and more recently - Valkyrie in Apex Legends. She also has a treasure trove of prominent voice acting roles and Cantha in Guild Wars 2 should prove to be a great fit.
Sarah Sokolovic was the most recent addition to the End of Dragons crew and while she doesn't have a ton of voice acting roles, you might know her as Laura Sutton from Homeland TV show or Sherlock's love interest in Timeless.
Let's just hope the writing matches the calibre of the voice actors we see coming in - if it does, we are in for an extremely tasty storytelling treat.
