Guild Wars 2 players will be able to get a taste of End of Dragons expansion as soon as the next week, when the first three Elite specialisations become available for testing.
End of Dragons expansion may not be coming before early 2022 but Guild Wars 2 players can test out the first three Elite specialisations as soon as August 17, 2021. The event will last until Saturday, August 21, giving players roughly four days to test out the new ways to play these professions.
Speaking of the specialisations, the Virtuoso for Mesmer was already confirmed and it has now received a brief overview of what it will do. The Virtuoso will be using psychic blades to hit enemies and apparently, it will rely on conditions to deal the damage. When you're out of cooldowns, there will be the trusty dagger to fall back on.
The two specs that were not revealed yet belong to the Necromancers and Guardians. Necros will gain access to pistols while Guardians will be able to wield two swords but ArenaNet didn't let out what these two will be able to do with their new toys, other than briefly mentioning they will be " relentless and audacious ".
Give the description, it seems like the Necro will be the relentless one since a pistol doesn't really spell out "audacious". Meanwhile, the dual swords of the Guardian certainly do so expect ceaseless fire from Necros and an in-your-face approach from the Guardians.
