Those who survived the wrongful ban apocalypse on GTA Online for PC should now be safe to resume their illegal Los Santos operations.
GTA V and GTA Online were previously compromised due to a security failure from Rockstar's side, allowing cheaters from the online portion to modify the players' stats and status with malicious intent.
At the end of the day, players were at risk of getting banned by engaging even in the single-player part of the game on PC so it was best to not go in at all.
It appears the time for concern has passed as Rockstar pushed out a security update .
If you missed grinding in Los Santos, now would be the time to start it again, especially with the new set of discounts and bonuses just kicking in for the week.
On that note, Rockstar didn't include any sort of compensation for dropping the ball when it comes to the security side of things but hey, at least the blog post is teasing those GTA+ benefits you can subscribe to.
That still doesn't mean PC will ever get HSW upgrades so you don't expect those properly fast cars anytime soon.
