It looks like Santa Monica Studio's blockbuster God of War Ragnarok is set to release in the coming months.

UPDATE:  God Of War Ragnarok merchandise i s starting to show up on certain online stores  with September 2022 release date. 


Original Story: PlayStation exclusive God of War Ragnarok has been officially rated by the Korean Ratings Board. The game received a "Not available to youth" rating which is an 18+ equivalent rating in Korea.

According to the rating description, God of War Ragnarok received an 18+ rating due to excessive expression of violence, realistic weapons like knives and axes, excessive vulgarity, profanity, direct drug expression and expression of characters drinking in the taverns. 

Usually, when the rating boards rate games, this means that the release is very close so expect to see more God of War Ragnarok gameplay and hear some new details very soon.

Sony may announce the State of Play focused on God of War Ragnarok very soon with first details on editions, pre-orders and release date. 

The release could still be several months away but it does seem like God of War Ragnarok is now on track to release in 2022, contrary to some rumours which suggested it will be pushed to 2023.

God of War Ragnarok currently does not have a specific release date. It is coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Ragnarok will conclude the Norse saga and will have an ending that will be surprising yet inevitable.
