Despite rumours, leaks and claims from various insiders, Elden Ring was not shown at The Game Awards. However, reliable Jeff Grubb says that Elden Ring fans need to be patient a month or two more, which suggests that the game is indeed coming soon.
FromSoftware's Elden Ring appeared at The Game Awards show but only as a winner of the most anticipated game of 2020 award. Sadly, the Japanese developer decided to skip the show and will probably reveal the game on their own in the upcoming months.
And it seems this, heavily-anticipated reveal could be coming in the next month or two. According to reliable Jeff Grubb, Elden Ring fans need to stay patient just a tiny bit more.
"Here's one thing that I've heard that I can say: have a little bit more patience, but just a little bit more. And that does not mean days, and I don't think it means weeks but it doesn't mean months and months and months," he said in a GamesBeat podcast . "I think they could have shown it here [TGA] if they wanted to, I think it's at that stage but let's just give it a month or two more."
Since many reports, hints and rumours regarding Elden Ring reveal have been completely wide of the mark previously, we suggest you take this one with a dose of scepticism. Yes, Grubb is one of the reliable sources but still, we're at a stage were a lot of things have been said about Elden Ring and none of them was actually true so it's best to wait for the news from official channels.
Elden Ring is in development for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. However, it's safe to assume it's also coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
