FromSoftware has released a new patch for Elden Ring: Nightreign, focusing on fixing a couple of major bugs that have been frustrating players during boss fights. The patch is now live across all platforms, including PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
What’s Fixed in Elden Ring: Nightreign Update 1.01.5
The latest update - listed as App Ver. 1.01.5 and Regulation Ver. 1.01.7 - targets bugs tied to the battle against the Everdark Sovereign Sentient Pest, which was recently introduced to the boss pool.
Players reported that this boss could get stuck during the fight, preventing them from actually finishing the encounter. Even worse, there was a rare issue where the boss would randomly appear outside the battle area, turning the fight into an awkward, nearly impossible mess.
Both of these bugs have now been addressed in this patch, making one of Nightreign’s most memorable (and challenging) boss fights work as intended.
How to Download the New Elden Ring: Nightreign Patch
For players on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, the new regulation files can be downloaded by simply logging into the game. Once you’ve logged in, check the version number at the bottom right of the title screen - it should show Regulation Ver. 1.01.7.
If it doesn’t, select "LOGIN" to apply the latest update before you start playing. Remember, online play requires that you have the newest patch installed. After downloading the update file, make sure to restart your game so the changes take effect properly.

While this patch focuses on bug fixes, FromSoftware has confirmed that more updates are on the way. These future updates will continue to improve the overall experience, making Elden Ring: Nightreign even more stable and enjoyable for both new and returning players.
