The Game Awards host Geoff Keighley has just dropped a fresh batch of Elden Ring screenshots which reveal new enemy types, locations and a new boss.
From Software fans rejoice! Today, we get to look at brand new Elden Ring screenshots, which have been provided by Geoff Keightly , the host of The Game Awards, where Bandai Namco and developer From Software showcased first gameplay for their long-awaited action RPG.
The screenshots give us a closer look at new locations, enemy types and The Godrick boss fight, which looks truly spectacular. So, without further ado, check out the new screenshots below:
We have to say that the screenshots look really, really good, especially the first one, which showcases interesting new enemy types that we will get to fight against.
One thing that you'll probably notice is the visuals, which do look solid but still not a clear improvement over Dark Souls 3 and Sekiro. That being said, From Software games were never known for their great visual fidelity and technical achievement in terms of graphics so it's not surprising that Elden Ring looks ok at best.
It's all about the gameplay and if Elden Ring offers us the best of previous From Software games did but at a much larger scale and in an open-world, that's more than enough for a memorable experience.
Elden Ring is officially launching on January 21, 2021, for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
