Some of the beloved modes and features from the PES days are finally making it back to eFootball.

Konami announced that a total of 97 clubs are getting added to eFootball 2023 in the update 2.4 which includes teams from four of the big five in Europe, such as England, Spain, Italy and France.

These teams will be joining the existing ones that were previously available in Trial Match and Friend Match modes, which brings eFootball up to the standard of PES 6 or something thereabouts. However, it is still missing fan-favourite single-player modes.

Speaking of which, there is no news regarding Master League and Become a Legend except what was already known, which is the rough release window of 2023.

As far as the online portion of the game goes, there will be login bonuses "leading to the acquisition of a Brazilian football legend" in a Chance Deal for their Dream Team.

Additionally, legends and current players representing Japan are up for grabs due to the 30th anniversary of the J-League.
