Limited-time mode, a new collection and private matches spearhead the latest Apex legends update.
EA and Respawn Entertainment are constantly updating Apex Legends on the account of the game being one of the breadwinners, thanks to its immense popularity that has been going on for almost four years now.
The latest update that brings along the Spellbound event is a significant one as it features a lot of content, both cosmetic and gameplay-wise.
Control is the limited-time mode (LTM) that has players duking it out as two teams of nine, as opposed to dropping into the mayhem of a battle royale match.
The differences don't stop there as the main objective is to reach a point limit by controlling three zones instead of being the last one standing.
On top of that, if your friend pool is deep enough, you can now play private matches without having randoms in them. Then again, nothing is going to stop you from letting a few outsiders join either.
This will serve as a great tool for creating tournaments and other competitions but it will not provide progression of any sort.
As for the cosmetic side of additions, there are 24 new items that can be acquired, including Legendary skins for Vantage, Seer, Mad Maggie and more.
Those who manage to unlock all 24 items before the event ends will get their hands on Seer's Heirloom, the Showstoppers.
