Xur is back for another weekend in Destiny 2 and Warlocks can look forward to a rather nice Exotic but the rest of the weekend merchant's offerings are not as satisfying. Then again, it might be worth it to take them out of Fated Engram's loot pool.
Destiny 2 players will need to go to Watcher's Grave on Nessus. As you probably figured out by now, he is on the golden barge. Those who are not yet familiar with the map can spawn on the Watcher's Grave waypoint and look south - there is no missing the floating vessel made of gold. Go underneath it, climb the rocks and you will see a cargo door that will take you inside the barge. Go up the stairs and you will reach Xur.
Upon reaching the vendor, players will be able to purchase Colony, an Exotic grenade launcher. It is not exactly the top Exotic pick in any activity so you might as well just buy it to remove the item from the Fated Engram loot. It's not a bad weapon but there are definitely better options in the Power weapon slot.
Hunters can purchase Shinobu's Vow which can be useful for those speccing in Arc trees. Once again, this is not really an item that you want to expend your Exotic armour slot on. Shards of Galanor are better in PvE and there is a slew of Hunter Exotics that are better in PvP. Buy it to remove it from Fated Engram pool in case you have spare Legendary Shards.
Mask of the Quiet one is the Titan item of the week. Unlike the previous two Exotics, this one can be fairly useful but it's not top of the line either. Try getting a One-Eyed Mask in PvP as it's still a strong item, even after the nerfs.
Warlocks are the lucky ones this time around. Lunafaction Boots are a great Exotic and while certain other Exotics can be better, depending on situation, these boots can prove extremely useful in both PvE and PvP.
