Bungie announced significant nerfs for the Solar subclasses in Destiny 2 in the season ahead, leaving some players sad and others relieved.

Bungie has announced they will swing the nerf bat in the direction of Solar subclasses in Destiny 2 at the start of Season 19 , which will significantly reduce reliance on the healing portion of the game.

Restoration proved to be an extremely useful tool in both PvE and PvP, with the former not having too many issues with it except the need to constantly use the heals in high-end activities, which led to the lack of variety.

PvP, on the other hand, suffered greatly due to the completely changed dynamic of gunfights with the introduction of unconventional heals. This will persist next season but it will be balanced a bit more.

First, having one stack of Restoration will heal players for 20 health per second in PvP, down from 25, and 40 per second in PvE, down from 50.

Having the second stack applied will increase the rate to 32.5 health per second in PvP, down from 40, and 65 health per second in PvE, down from 80.

Bungie Destiny 2 - Arcstrider Hunter Arc 3.0 was received better in PvP because it didn't prolong the fights unnecessarily

Additionally, the heals will not stack with Healing Rift, which will mean a little bit of a challenge in PvE.

As for PvP, it will take about eight seconds to regenerate from being critically wounded, from the moment they applied the first stack of Restoration.

This doesn't represent much of a change and it's not impossible that the numbers will be tweaked further as this buff is the source of a lot of frustration in PvP activities.
