Trials of Osiris is back with the weekend and there are two weapons to be gained from accumulating wins this time around, by either filling a ticket or just accumulating wins.

Trials of Osiris is being held on Javelin-4 map this week. In case you don't know the maps by name, it's the one on Io, features close-quarters combat in most parts but there is also a long lane for sniping.

Rewards this week are:

  • Helmet for three wins
  • The Summoner for five wins
  • Astral Horizon for seven wins
  • Class item for going flawless

While it's not ideal that it's a piece of armour on the lowest hanging branch, there are two weapons to be gained from getting more wins. The Summoner is one of the best auto rifles in the current meta, which of course favours 600 RPM autos.

One of the two most popular special weapon types in the meta are the shotguns and that's what you can get with seven wins. Astral Horizon is one of the rare aggressive frame shotguns that can roll with Quickdraw/Opening Shot or Slideshot/Opening Shot.

Both of these trait combos are fantastic on aggressive shotguns but Felwinter's Lie subtracts from Astral Horizon's value as it can also have those traits and they are chosen rather than random.

Then again, Felwinter's Lie is in the energy weapon slot while Astral Horizon is in kinetic so that may play a role in your loadout, depending on what kind of primary goodies you have lying around in either of those slots.
