Destiny 2 had its first round of The Iron Banner in Season 8 mere two weeks ago but the event is coming back on 4 November 2019. You might not want to turn the bounties in immediately though.

Lord Shaxx is the fan favourite announcer but Lord Saladin will take over in case you are looking for some juicy bounties that reward Pinnacle gear. The event kicks off on Tuesday, 4 November 2019, bringing with it the engrams that can get you up to that second hard cap.

We would advise against immediately completing the bounties though. The reason for this is Bungie's recent announcement that stated Power grind would get much easier after the patch that's coming on Thursday, 6 November 2019. Pinnacle gear will go from +1 to +2 then so you might literally half your grinding time if you are patient enough.

Considering that Power level farming will be in the best spot since Shadowkeep release, it might be worth completing Lord Saladin's quest on alt characters before the changes kick in. Players will still gain tokens, gear and experience as per usual and four days should be enough to complete the quest with two alts.

Keep in mind that this event holds not only the beautiful armour pictured above but also one of the rare grenade launchers that don't take up the Power Weapon slot. Orewing's Maul will have random rolls, which could potentially make it your go-to Energy Weapon, in case you are not sitting on a Mountaintop.

Gunnora's Axe is a slug shotgun that should prove to be quite effective in the absence of the Chaperone so keep your eyes peeled. The weapon comes with great curated roll but can also get amazing random rolls too.
