Bungie provided another way to feel like a space cowboy, coming to you at the end of May 2023.

Destiny 2 has several options to allow players to fulfil that space cowboy fantasy, from various hand cannons over hats to repeaters that may look futuristic but also have obvious throwbacks in their designs.

Currently, there are only two repeaters for the players to pick up - Dead Man's Tale Exotic in the kinetic slot and Long Arm in the energy slot.

Come Season 21, the options will extend to a non-Exotic kinetic weapon, as Bungie is adding Last Rite as the ritual weapon.

Bungie didn't reveal the perk pool for this beauty yet but they did show the ornaments that can be obtained through ranking up with Zavala, Shaxx and the Drifter.

While the Crucible is indeed my favourite pastime in Destiny 2, it is not the only reason I say it has the best ornament for Last Rite, at least before applying shaders.

That one already looks fantastic but I can definitely see the Gambit one looking good, should the correct palette be applied. Vanguard ornament, however, ended up being lacklustre with just way too many stripes on it.

Since this is an aggressive scout rifle, just like the Long Arm, you can expect the weapon to have a rate of fire of 120 rounds per minute, although the recoil is much more manageable than that of hand cannons with the same lead-spitting capacity.
