In Season 11, Bungie are going to alleviate some of the issues Destiny 2 players have been bringing to light so far. Not all is fine and dandy though as those who built around Powerful Friends mod will need new gear.

Powerful Friends mod in Destiny 2 is one of the best things you can put on your armour pieces, making one of the worst elemental affinities actually viable. The active part of the mod is not exactly interesting in most cases but the +20 Mobility bonus makes up for it and then some.

Players saw the potential of builds where they would pick armour pieces with low Mobility and focus on Resilience and Recovery instead. Stacking Powerful Friends would then bring Mobility to 100, effectively letting some players run maximum in all three attributes. This will no longer be possible after Season 11 kicks in on June 9.

Naturally, this will subtract from the mod's potential but that is not to say it is now bad. Adding 20 mobility with a single mod is still fantastic and will still give you a reason to run Arc affinity on at least one piece of armour.

On the brighter side of things for Guardians, PvP enthusiasts will get more opportunities to Masterwork their gear. Additional materials will be awarded at three, five and seven wins.

A new Trials weekly bounty will allow players to get Trials Engrams from Saint-14. On top of that, Trials token distribution will be altered to focus on milestone winning of each Passage, including the repeat Passages. To wrap things up with the Token changes, they will now be granted specifically through wins and bounties.
