One of the two most favourite expansions that happened to Destiny series is going away as Bungie are making way for upcoming content.

Depending on who you ask, the best expansion in the Destiny series is either The Taken King or Forsaken. The first one was inherently sunset as it's part of the original game and Destiny 2 is all the rage these days but the second one is going away soon as well.

Bungie announced they will be vaulting most of the Forsaken content in order to make room for The Witch Queen things as well as a reprised raid, two PvP maps from D2 that were previously vaulted and one PvP map that is coming back from the original Destiny.

The Tangled Shore is going away but the Dreaming City is staying so it's fair to say the preferred map from the expansion is the one that remains. You are probably thinking about the Spider, who serves as a currency and resource converter at the moment, but also resides in the location that is getting vaulted.

His vendor screen is going to be transferred to Master Rahool, which is probably the best part of the news in the entire blog post. This means we will no longer need to specifically go to the Tangled Shore and then trudge through the unsavoury Eliksni's lair whenever we want an extra stack of Glimmer.

That said, those who paid for Forsaken will most likely be left with a bitter taste in their mouth as Bungie keeps removing things people paid money for.
