Destiny 2 is getting a suite of improvements when it comes to grinding and here is a full breakdown.

Bungie already increased the drop rates for red border weapons, which are needed for crafting in Destiny 2 , allowing the Guardians to get their chosen rolls on raid weapons that much easier. There will also be some changes when Lightfall drops so stay tuned.

Those who are grinding for titles will now have an easier time with Dredgen. The improvement is for gilding the title, to be precise, and it pertains to the number of Gambit matches played. Now you will "only" need to play 50 games of Gambit instead of getting 30 wins, which could stretch out for much longer.

Blues are finally getting auto-dismantled

Upon reaching the soft Power cap in a season, all blue items from that point onward will start dismantling as soon as they are obtained. As such, players will get Glimmer instead.

Adding on that, Banshee-44's reputation will go up 25 per cent faster for dismantling to compensate for the aforementioned change. There may still be some instances where blues will appear in your inventory.

Rumble, Exotics and Catalysts

Rumble is staying as a permanent addition instead of being on rotation because apparently there were enough people that wanted it around at all times.

Meanwhile, the quest for crafting class-based Exotic Glaives will require only one portion of each Weapon Pattern from the Wellspring weapons and each daily Wellspring weapon will have Deepsight. Upon unlocking a recipe for the first Exotic Glaive, other classes' recipes will be purchasable on the Evidence Board.

Older Exotics that didn't get the benefits of Catalyst boosts from Season Pass will now be able to. These include:

  • Eriana's Vow
  • Symmetry
  • Tommy's Matchbook
  • Witherhoard
