Bungie released the ViDoc that revealed the road ahead for Destiny 2 and it included all the important dates of the next expansion, such as Iron Banner, new raid, Adept weapon additions as well as the start of the Dawning and seasonal activities.
Destiny 2: Beyond Light schedule pretty much sums up what will happen in the game for the next two months, until 2020 runs out.
Beyond Light will release on November 10, 2020, at which point we will also get access to:
- Seasonal battle pass and artifacts
- Empire Hunts (seasonal activity)
- The Glassway strike
The first Trials of Osiris in the new expansion will start on November 13, 2020, and Adept weapons will be made available for the players who make it to the Lighthouse.
On November 17, the seasonal mission will begin along with Wrathborn Hunts while the first raid, Deep Stone Crypt, will open on November 21. Keep in mind it will be in contest mode for the first 24 hours, especially if you're aiming at the prestigious feat of being the first team in the world to complete it.
Iron Banner will be the first event that will happen in the following month, kicking off on December 8, 2020. Exactly one week later, when Saladin packs up and leaves the Tower, The Dawning will commence.
Running from December 15, 2020, to January 5, 2021, this event will once again bring Eva Levante and allow us to farm up currency to get some fancy ornaments.
