Deathloop is slotting into the Xbox Game Pass library very soon, by the looks of it

The official announcement for Deathloop on Game Pass and Xbox Series X|S consoles seems to be imminent.

PlayStation 5 console exclusive Deathloop is finally coming to Xbox Series X|S consoles, exactly one year after the initial release.

The game leaked on the Xbox Store , with a "pre-order now" ad, which pretty much confirms that the release is imminent. The link on the store does not lead to an actual pre-order page at the moment but we expect that to change very soon.

Arkane's critically acclaimed shooter will probably slot right into the Xbox Game Pass library now that the exclusive deal with Sony has expired so expect the official announcement very soon.

Deathloop is one of the highest-rated games of 2021, winning several awards including Best Game Direction and Best Art Direction at The Game Awards 2021.

The game was announced as a PlayStation 5 exclusive before Microsoft acquired Bethesda. Microsoft then announced they will honour the existing deals and they kept their word as both Ghostwire: Tokyo and Deathloop remained exclusives for PlayStation.

Recently, it's been announced that Deathloop is coming to PlayStation Plus which caused a minor frustration among the Xbox players, who expected to see the game in Xbox Game Pass first.

Hopefully, both sets of fans will now be happy to have this gem in their respective subscription services.

Deathloop is available now on PC and PlayStation 5.
