Just like Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War and Modern Warfare, Call of Duty Vanguard will have content that is exclusive to PlayStation 4 and 5 consoles.

PlayStation usually have the marketing rights for the Call of Duty franchise while Xbox have managed to agree a deal with EA to promote Battlefield 2042. However, it doesn't seem like Xbox will get any exclusive content for their console like Sony did for Call of Duty players on PlayStation.

You probably know that Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War and Modern Warfare a year before, had exclusive PlayStation content and that tradition is set to continue with the upcoming Call of Duty Vanguard. Yesterday, Activision dropped a Story trailer for the game, which confirms that PlayStation players receive extra stuff that won't be on other consoles and PC for a full year.

"PS players receive bonus content and benefits not available on other platforms until November 1, 2021," it's mentioned at the very end of the video.

This exclusive content is yet to be revealed by Activision but given that previous games had exclusive game modes like Onslaught mode, it's safe to expect that PlayStation players will once again get something in a similar vein.

Call of Duty Vanguard is officially hitting the shelves on November 5, 2021, for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
