Modern Warfare developer Infinity Ward have officially confirmed that Gunfight 3v3 playlist will be coming pretty soon. The announcement comes just a few days after the devs rolled out 1v1 variation of the mode.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare had plenty of content updates since its release a couple of months ago and that trend is set to continue in 2020. The developer Infinity Ward, released a community update, where they shed some light on their short term plans for the game, which include a brand new variation of popular Gunfight mode.
Just like they teased earlier, Gunfight 3v3 is indeed coming but at the moment, the release date is yet to be revealed by the devs. However, it shouldn't take long and our bet would be on Tuesday, next week since the playlist updates are usually introduced on the second day of the week.
At the moment, players have two Gunfight variations available, the original one, which sets two teams of two players against each other and the brand new, 1v1, which released earlier this week, Gunfight is one of the most popular Call of Duty: Modern Warfare modes and it's not a surprise to see it being expanded.
It remains to be seen if Infinity Ward also release some special maps for 3v3 since the current maps are perfectly balanced for 2v2.
On top of this addition, Infinity Ward also shared a short list of problems they are currently trying to fix. Here's it is in full:
- Lighting flickering on various maps
- Mission collision on containers on Cargo
- Platinum skins not unlocking properly
- Out of map exploits in Ground War
- Platinum and Damascus camos glare while ADS
