Activision have officially revealed a free content update for the upcoming Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War. Nuketown '84 map is making a return this month while Gunfight mode is coming in December along with other free stuff.
Activision introduced a ton of free content in Call of Duty Modern Warfare and they will continue the trend with the upcoming Black Ops Cold War, which is just around the corner.
Today, the publisher detailed some of this free content that will be available shortly after the game's launch. Players will be happy to hear that the iconic map Nuketown '84 is making a return on November 24, 2020, in a free content update.
Shortly after that, on December 10, Season One will officially kick off in both Black Ops Cold War and Warzone. The first season will introduce more multiplayer maps, game modes, weapons, new Zombies modes and more. Popular mode Gunfight 2v2 is making a return, which is certainly a welcomed sight.
Activision did not share more details about Season One but you can expect a full breakdown very soon.
In other Call of Duty news, Activision revealed more details about player progression in Black Ops Cold War, confirming the new Prestige system and changes to Call of Duty Warzone.
Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War is officially hitting the shelves on November 13, 2020, for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
