Highly anticipated action RPG Black Myth: Wukong now has a release window of Summer 2024, developer Game Science unveiled in their new short celebrating Chinese new year.
Chinese developer Game Science have officially revealed the release window for their upcoming souls-like action RPG Black Myth: Wukong . The game is set to launch sometime in the Summer of 2024 for PC and "mainstream consoles" presumably PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S . The devs also said they are considering the release on capable could-based platforms.
The release window was confirmed in Game Science's short film, released in celebration of the Chinese New Year. It features only a glimpse of actual game footage, revealing a boss fight for not more than five seconds before it ends with a "Summer 2024" title.
It's certainly going to be a long wait for those who got their eye on Black Myth: Wukong but Game Science should of course take all the time they need to make a truly spectacular game that they've promised with the first trailers.
In case you are not familiar with Black Myth: Wukong, it's a souls-like in which players control a monkey based on the Chinese legendary mythical figure The Monkey King. The game allows players to transform into smaller flying insects or giant powerful creatures.
The trailers so far showcased complex combat and world-class animations as well as a wide variety of enemies and bosses. It's certainly one that the gaming community is eagerly awaiting to see more of so hopefully, Game Science will give us more content later this year.
