Highly-anticipated action RPG Black Myth: WuKong from developer Game Science has a new trailer that shows off new cinematics but also more of the incredible combat and boss fights.

Game Science have revealed a brand new trailer for their upcoming action RPG called Black Myth: WuKong at Tencent's WeGame 2024 event in China.

The new trailer clocks at 1:38, showing off more of the incredible combat we've already fell in love with, some new bosses and cinematics. You can check it out here.

Judging by all the footage we've seen so far, Black Myth: WuKong certainly won't shy away from massive, spectacular boss fights which are present in this trailer too. The combos shown here look fantastic and we genuinely can't wait to try the game ourselves.

Visually, the game still looks gorgeous and it should improve too as we head towards the launch. Game Science recently announced that Black Myth: WuKong will launch with full ray-tracing known as path tracing which results in world-class lighting, shadows and reflections. Some of the other titles that use path tracing are Cyberpunk 2077 and Alan Wake 2, both of which are considered to be an absolute peak of video game graphics.

In addition to the new trailer, Game Science also confirmed that Black Myth: WuKong will launch on Tencent-owned WeGame store for the price of 268 CNY, which is around 29 pounds. Keep in mind that the game will probably be $69 in the US, as this is just regional pricing for China. The price will obviously vary based on your region and preferred platform.

Black Myth: WuKong is still scheduled to launch on August 24, 2024, barring any unforeseen circumstances that would force the dev team to push the game further into 2024.

The game is coming to PC via Steam and Epic Games Store and PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. You can't pre-order the game just yet but that will probably change very soon as we expect to see Black Myth: WuKong in June at one of the big gaming showcases like Gamescom Opening Night Live.

In case you are not quite familiar with the game, Black Myth: WuKong is inspired by Chinese mythology with a story based on Journey to the West, one of the Four Great Classical Novels of Chinese literature. Players will play as a monkey called Destined One who will travel to various regions and battle beasts on his quest.

The game features both melee and spell combat and even allows players to transform into different animals. Black Myth: WuKong is certainly one of the most anticipated games of the year and we cannot wait to see more of it soon.
