Arkane Studios' open-world vampire shooter Redfall is set to launch on May 2, 2023, according to the recent rumours that are making rounds on social media.
Redfall release date has been leaked on Twitter and if the rumours are true, this Xbox -exclusive vampire shooter from Arkane Studios will see the light of the day, or should we say the darkness of the night, on May 2, 2023.
The release date was first teased by journalist Brad Sams , who tweeted four emojis that can be easily interpreted as "Redfall May 2" which would suggest that Arkane's title is launching in May.
Shortly after that, Spanish Xbox YouTuber and insider eXtas1s tweeted the following (machine translation): "If there was any doubt, Redfall can now be 100% confirmed with a release date of May 2, 2023."
Previously, Twitter user Okami Games revealed that Redfall has been delayed from its initial March release date to early May, which could turn out to be true after all.
Xbox and Bethesda are expected to share the official release date for Redfall on January 25, 2023, during the game's presentation on Developer Direct . Until then, we suggest you take these leaks and rumours with a grain of salt, regardless of where they come from.
If the May 2 release date is indeed correct, we assume pre-orders for the game would open shortly after the Developer Direct show. Redfall is launching on Xbox Game Pass day one but we assume that Microsoft will offer an early access period for those who buy the Deluxe Edition, as they did with Forza Horizon 5 .
Redfall is a first-person shooter set on the fictional island town of Redfall, Massachusetts. It's Arkane's first open-world game. Redfall is exclusive to the Xbox ecosystem and will be coming to Xbox Series X|S and PC.
