Escape from Tarkov players heavily rely on keys to get to valuable loot that has been locked away. Battlestate Games have recently released a bunch of new changes to keys and this article contains all of the highlights.
Battlestate Games released a bunch of changes for keys in the latest changes to Escape from Tarkov only a few weeks after the wipe .
The majority of the changes are related to the keys that can be used in the game and the first change is related to the price at which the keys can be sold at the Flea Market.
Most "throwaway" or common keys have gotten a value decrease while the keys that can be found in loot rooms have had their value significantly increased.
Additionally, single-use keys that are used for tasks only can no longer be sold at the Flea Market. Currently, there are timers tied to the keys and once the timers run out, the keys can no longer be sold.

Lastly, the background colours for all of the keys have been changed. The exit key backgrounds have been changed to a very transparent green colour. Blue backgrounds represent lesser rarity and purple/violet backgrounds represent higher rarity.
A lot of key values have shifted from prices such as 60k all the way up to 250k and some keys have lost a lot of value due to the changes.
We recommend checking the prices that Vendors are offering for the keys as they all have been modified to align with the new prices.
