Dice are gearing up to deliver the next chapter in the Battlefield V saga and this time it's Chapter 6: Into the Jungle, which traditionally brings new map called Solomon Islands, new guns and gadgets, new elites, Chapter Rewards and more.
Battlefield V Chapter 6: Into the Jungle is pretty self-explanatory when it comes to what to expect. Americans and the Imperial Japanese Army continue to duke it out as usual, but this time it's more about rumbling in the jungle.
Into the Jungle comes with a new close-quarter map called Solomon Islands, which promises a lot of head to head combat, thanks to the more cramped design.
"Rivers and marshes block the path for infantry and tanks, but savvy soldiers can make the bottlenecks work for them. You’ll charge through narrow paths winding through dense jungle and fight over covered strongholds", Dice wrote.
Breakthrough should be a blast to play on Solomon Islands, as the defenders can use the terrain to stay in hiding, while attackers get to choose between flanking, infantry charge or landing boats for frontal assaults.
As for the new weapons, Support gets the Type 11 LMG and the Model 37 shotgun, while Assaults get the chance to unlock the fully-auto M2 Carbine rifle. The new gadgets are Assaults' vehicle-busting M1A1 Bazooka and the Lunge Mine Gadget for Assault and Support players.
Battlefield V Chapter 6: Into the Jungle brings three new Elites, the first of which is the assault specialist Misaki Yamashiro. Instead of being purchased in the Armory, you'll need to hit Chapter Rank 40 to unlock her.
There's also Steve Fisher, the "fearless but light-hearted pilot", and Akira Sakamoto, an accomplished Zero pilot.
Chapter 6: Into the Jungle players have 40 ranks to progress by simply playing Battlefield, and the rewards include emblems, weapon skins, uniforms and, should you stick it out to the end - Elite soldier Misaki Yamashiro.
