The next Battlefield game could introduce the biggest multiplayer maps in the history of the franchise. According to a reliable insider Tom Henderson, Dice are designing the maps with 128 players in mind and also have interest in battle royale.

A brand new Battlefield game is currently in the works at EA and Dice and we should know more about it on next year's E3 2021. The details about the game are pretty scarce at the moment, we only know that EA confirmed this new game is scheduled for release in 2021.

However, thanks to some reliable insiders like Tom Henderson who accurately revealed Call of Duty and Battlefield news in the past, we have a couple of new details about the game, which will certainly excite may fans.

According to Henderson, Dice are currently designing multiplayer maps to support more than 128 players. Of course, the standard 32 v 32 playlist will probably remain the core Battlefield experience but it looks like 64 v 64 could be a brand new mode in Battlefield 6.

Additionally, Henderson claims that DICE have increased interest in battle royale despite their failure named Firestorm, which promised to be one of the best battle royale modes on the market but was abandoned by Dice quickly after the release.

As always with unofficial info, we suggest you take this with a grain of salt until EA and Dice reveal more details about the game. For more Battlefield 6 rumours, read more about a potential modern-day setting.
