Battlefield 3 Remastered is set to release alongside modern-day Battlefield 2021 according to a reliable leaker Daqarie. He claims that EA and Dice want to do something similar to what Activision and Infinity Ward did with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
Earlier this week, we found out that Battlefield 2021 is set to return to a modern-day setting. Reliable industry insider Tom Henderson teased the setting over on Twitter while popular YouTuber jackfrags also made a video about a potential Battlefield reboot.
Today, however, we have some big leaks from a well-known YouTuber Daqarie, who previously accurately revealed details about Battlefield 1 and Battlefield V. In his latest Battlefield insider video, Daqarie claims that Battlefield 3 Remaster is indeed real and will be coming alongside Battlefield 2021, which is also set in the modern-day.
He states that EA and Dice are trying to do something similar to what Activision and Infinity Ward did with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered and 2019's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
Apparently, Battlefield 3 Remastered will launch with all DLCs including Back To Karkand, Close Quarters, Armored Kill, Aftermath and Endgame. The game is in the works for PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and PC.
The game will feature paid cosmetics that will also be unlockable via gameplay. Last but not least, Daqarie says that big YouTubers have known about the remaster since Battlefield V, which is why they regularly released Battlefield 3 content on their channels in recent months.
