Battlefield reveal is now surely imminent after we got a leak for a part of the audio from the trailer. The audio has been confirmed legit by reliable leaker Tom Henderson.
The official reveal of the next-gen Battlefield game, which is rumoured to be returning to the modern-day setting, should be coming sometime this month. EA confirmed they will reveal the game in Spring 2021 and the month of May is a prime candidate for such an event since the majority of Battlefield games were revealed in May.
And as we wait for the reveal, some stuff from the trailer has already been leaked online. Reliable insider Tom Henderson has shared multiple sketches of certain scenes from the trailer while some direct screenshots have also surfaced on social media and gaming forums.
Today, we have a brand new leak, which gives us a part of the audio from the trailer. A 33-second clip first appeared on 4chan before spreading to Reddit and Twitter. Check it out here.
It's classic Battlefield we would say. Gunshots, explosions, and soldiers yelling on the battlefield as some tense music is playing on top of this. The original song that can be heard in the audio is below, in case you dig it.
Reliable leaker Tom Henderson confirmed that the leaked audio is indeed legit but it seems to be from the first version of the trailer, which may not be what EA and Dice decide to reveal in the coming days.
All in all, with another leak, we assume it's only a matter of time before the trailer drops. Some suggested that the trailer would arrive this week but this has not been confirmed by reliable sources so take it with a grain of salt, just like any rumour.
