Team Asobi's Astro Bot releases in a couple of days for PS5 and already garnered rave reviews in the process, becoming one of the highest-rated games of this year.
Besides what comes as part of the base game, fans can expect plenty more to come, since the developers intend to release free post-launch levels.
In a presentation last month, it was announced that there would be 15 more levels for Astro Bot after it launched. Developers were going to add ten challenge levels and five speedrun phases to give players more opportunities to challenge themselves and have fun while playing.
As of now, this may no longer be the case, or even more may be in store, depending on how the game performs and is received. Even lacking additional content, Astro Bot has plenty in which players canget into at launch. With upwards of 80 levels across 50 planets, there's a whole heap of different challenges and a most definitely varied range of difficulties.
To top it all off, players can find upwards of 300 Bots hiding in the game, with 150 of those key cameos ranging from other popular franchises like Horizon to God of War.
You'll have new levels and, with the promise of more in subsequent updates, Astro Bot is shaping up to be one of the most exciting releases coming to PS5 consoles.
The fans have much to look forward to, and if the game performs well, even more content could be added to the continuous and evolving experience for players.
