Here are the first three minutes of gameplay of the upcoming Assassin's Creed mobile game codenamed Jade.

A video showcasing almost three minutes of gameplay from Assassin's Creed codenamed Jade has surfaced via Reddit (backup link on Streamable .) The leak shows a wide-open world that players will get to explore on iOS and Android , traditional Assassin's Creed combat and traversal and some cinematics.

Visually, the game looks quite pretty for a mobile title with very impressive draw distance, fire and smoke effects and level of detail. The UI is also surprisingly very similar to the AAA Assassin's Creed games.

As for the traversal, it does look a bit stiff since the animations are not on the level of major Assassin's Creed games but that's somewhat expected. This is a mobile game after all.

In case you're not familiar with Assassin's Creed Jade, Ubisoft confirmed it's set in 215 BCE, during the Qun dynasty China. It's officially confirmed for iOS and Android so don't expect it on any other platforms.

Jade will allow players to create and fully customise their character, which is a first for the series. Usually, Assassin's Creed lets you choose between the character's gender and that's about it.

Ubisoft previously confirmed that several Assassin's Creed games are in development at the moment including Assassin's Creed Mirage , which is the first one in line to release. Other upcoming Assassin's Creed games include a massive Valhalla-like title set in Japan and a smaller and darker game codenamed Hexe.
