ArenaNet folks are going for their collective vacation soon but gave us a glimpse of what we can expect when they come back, including tentative info about future content.

Guild Wars 2 is going through the Champions chapter of the living story currently as we contend with the Charr champion of Jormag and the Elder Dragon itself. To make things worse, Primordus is also on our doorstep but that's all the content from the immediate future, unlike the image above.

Starting with the immediate future, the devs will reveal more on The Icebrood Saga: Champions, which will include details about Power, the next chapter of the story. Players weren't exactly happy with Truce so far so the next chapter will have quite a challenge to reignite the fans' passion and interest for the story.

That said, the Champions saga is an early prelude to End of Dragons, the next big expansion that is expected in 2021, and many are writing the lack of high impact content as the devs mostly focusing on bringing us Cantha.

On that note, ANet also revealed some new concept art for the Canthan expansion as a result of the community reaching a charity donation milestone.

One of the images, seen above, depicts a tree from Echovald Forest, the area where Kurzicks reside. At first glance, it may not look like a big deal but the lore goes that after the Kurzick-Luxon war, the Emperor absorbed both nations into the Canthan empire which could end up watering down or straight up removing culturally significant elements.

The image of the Kurzick tree containing what is presumed to be one of their cathedrals tells a different story and we are probably in for another visual treat when we get to explore Echovald Forest and the Jade Sea.
