It's been a while since we've last heard about Embark Studios' extraction shooter Arc Raiders. Last bit of news that we got confirmed that the game is now an extraction shooter, not co-op shooter as originally imagined.
Today however, we finally have some news about Arc Raiders. The developers announced on Steam that the game is getting tech test on Thursday, October 24. Yeah, quite the short notice.
How to play Arc Raiders tech test?
All you have to do is sign up for the test on the game's Steam page. If you're lucky, you'll get an email with an invite and guide on how to start playing. Embark say that the playtest will be quite large but it will still have cap on the player count. The good news is, access will be given randomly so if you just signed up, you still have the same chance to get in as everyone else.
Before you do that, you may want to take a look at the official PC specs for this test, just to make sure you're PC is capable of running the game. The specs aren't demanding at all so you're probably fine.
