Apex Legends' launch on Switch has been confirmed a while ago, and all that was left unknown was the launch date. Well, not anymore, thanks to Amazon Japan.

According to the recent listing from Amazon Japan, which is still up and can be found over here , Apex Legends is landing on Switch on February 2, 2020.

This all but confirms that Respawn's Titanfall battle royale indeed launches in February, which is what everyone seems to agree on. Granted, the agreeing stems from Respawn themselves spilling the beans in a since-removed hint, but still.

Perhaps it shouldn't be surprising that Apex Legends launches on Switch on February 2, considering that Respawn are also launching Season 8: Mayhem on the same date.

This means that Switch players can immediately get to testing the new legend, Fuse, although to be fair, the entire roster should be a blast to play through as a newcomer.

Seasoned Apex Legends veterans, however, should enjoy some fresh blood in the game, and the Ambassador of Boom fits the bill. Fuse should bring some of his explosive gameplay into the fold, but he's not the only thing coming in Season 8: Mayhem.

Respawn have also cooked up a new weapon, the 30-30 Repeater, a lever-action rifle that the dev claims packs some hard-hitting rounds. And it also happens to be Fuse's favourite weapon.

If you're waiting to learn more about Season 8: Mayhem, you should know that Respawn will soon be airing the gameplay trailer for Apex Legends - Season 8: Mayhem, which you can check out above or directly on YouTube.

The trailer should give us more insight into the abilities of both of the newcomers, so talk to you soon.
