In case Apex Legends' new event isn't enough for you, then data miners have your back and their efforts gave us a heads up on Nova and Rampart, new Paintball LTM and a glorious Charm for Steam release.
The data mining in question was done by Shrugtal, prominent Apex Legends data miner and a great guy to follow by the way, as he steers clear of any spoilers that would otherwise affect your in-game experience. Knowing how leaks can rid you of your own intimate experience with a game, we thought it quite important to note.
As for the contents, let us address the Charm that's meant for Apex Legends' launch on Steam - could there be a more appropriate Charm for GabeN's platform? Either way, we thought it was a great touch.
Respawn are clearly firing on all cylinders here as the Lost Treasures event brought a bunch of changes, and the underlying data suggests even more. Apex Legends appears to be heading for two new legend additions, although we're unsure as to the order of their introduction.
As you can see from the tweet below, Shrugtal found "a TON of new Rampart assets". They don't seem to be viewable at the moment, i.e. they're only references, but a lot can be deduced from the lines. Turrets? Repairs? Why yes please.
The second new Apex Legends character is Nova, who got a character icon as well. Shrugtal thinks there should be a teaser for her this patch, so hopefully he's right on this one.
Last but not least is the new Paintball LTM, which comes with own ammo type. It too is expected to land in this patch, so there's clearly no shortage of new stuff in Apex Legends.
