The new Marvel video game from Skydance Media is reportedly set during the WW2 and will follow Captain America and Black Panther.
Not a lot has been said about Skydance New Media's superhero game ever since the studio announced the partnership with Marvel last year but according to the latest rumours, the game could revolve around Captain America and Black Panther .
According to Marvel leaker MCU Status , the game will be an action-adventure set in World War Two with Captain America and Black Panther fighting against a well-known villain group Hydra.
"We have heard the new Marvel video game from Skydance Media will be a WW2 set adventure featuring Captain America and Black Panther. The duo will face off against the forces of Hydra."
The leaker did not share additional details but if the rumour is indeed true, we assume that the story could follow the "Flags of Our Fathers" comic book in which Captain America and Black Panther fight against Nazis. The story spans over Europe, North America, Africa and the Atlantic Ocean.
Whether or not Amy Hennig and her team decide to throw in their own creative choices to the mix, it remains to be seen but one thing is for certain, this could shape up to be one pretty cool setting.
We assume it will take a while before we get to see this Marvel game from Skydance New Media since the project was announced just last year.
Skydance New Media are also working on a Star Wars game , but this one too is yet to be properly unveiled.
Hopefully, we get some trailers from both games in the near future.
