007 First Light‘s launch is quickly approaching, and IO Interactive has published the game’s official PC requirements. The developer has also shared some additional info on graphical settings and performance.007 First Light launches May 27 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
The game will launch on Nintendo Switch 2 later this summer. New Enthusiast and Ultra preset have been added to the PC requirements to cater to high-end gaming PCs.
IO Interactive also confirmed support for uncapped frame rates, graphical customization options, and Nvidia DLSS 4.5 with Dynamic Multi Frame Generation and Super Resolution at launch.
High-End PCs Will Push Beyond 200 FPS
Recommended GPUs for 1440p and 4K gaming on High include the RTX 4070, RTX 4080, Radeon RX 7800 XT, and RX 7900 XTX. Your CPU and RAM don’t change much between those two presets, which should make it easier to upgrade your GPU only.
IO Interactive says the Intel Core i5-13600K or Ryzen 7 7700X is the sweet spot when gaming at Ultra 4K with an RTX 5080 and 32 GB RAM. DLSS 4.5 with Dynamic Multi Frame Generation seems required to hit the highest frame rates at Ultra, with your FPS possibly going above 200. The studio also plans to support Path tracing and DLSS Ray Reconstruction after launch this summer.
007 First Light will support menu narration, subtitle customization, sensitivity adjustments with deadzones, controller remapping, audio profiles, and auto-complete quick-time events as part of its accessibility options.
IO Interactive just has over a month left until 007 First Light launches. Hopefully, we see a few more optimizations or upgrades before release.
