007 First Light is the long-awaited return of James Bond to video games, developed by IO Interactive — the Copenhagen-based studio behind the critically acclaimed Hitman series. Rather than adapting an existing film or novel, IO Interactive has crafted an entirely original origin story, placing players in the shoes of a young, brash Naval recruit who is pulled into MI6's elite Double 0 programme following an act of unexpected heroism. What follows is a globe-trotting espionage adventure that blends stealth, social manipulation, gadgetry, and action in true Bond fashion — but with a rawer, more unpredictable edge befitting a spy who hasn't yet earned his licence to kill. Familiar faces such as M, Q, and Moneypenny appear alongside an all-new cast of characters, including Bond's reluctant mentor Greenway and villain Bawma, portrayed by Lenny Kravitz.
