is a viciously satisfying title that has managed to take the famously violent tone of the franchise to a whole new level. The addition of some brand new characters has paved the way for new fatalities to join the game's move list, and boy are they disgustingly amazing!
Filled with exhilrating action from start to finish, the game takes players on a journey with its excellent story mode the cutscenes of which look almost lifelike at times. Add to this the well-known Towers mode and you've got yourself a title that's abundantly rich with content for veterans and newcomers alike.
The visuals of the game are nothing short of superb, with characters models and stages looking downright phenomenonal. Mortal Kombat 11 features fan-favourite retro skins of some of the most iconic characters, such as Johnny Cage, Scorpion, Sub-zero and others, along with the now older versions of said fighters - all of whom look top notch.
Stages like Sea of Blood and Shirai Ryu Fire Garden look breathtaking with exceptional attention to detail present in every bit of the arena. Performing brutalities in any of the stages the game has to offer is never a dull affair solely for the fact that they look as good as the actual fatalities, even though they last a couple of seconds only.
Our platform of choice for Mortal Kombat 11 is PlayStation 4 Pro, and we are completely satisfied with the way the everything looks and feels. However, we were curious to see how the game would look when compared to the might of the master race in a side-by-side comparison, so we got the game for PC as well.
Being a fighting title, we did not exactly expect the differences between the two versions to be colossal, however, there are some well noticeable changes with colour and sharpness in the PC version of the game.
But instead of us telling you about it, we suggest you simply watch our comparison video and see all these differences in motion. So sit back, relax and treat yourself to some gory visuals.
