Many characters from the first leak won't make the cut including John Wick, Ash Wiliams, Havik, Daegon and other fan-requested fighters. Apparently, the fan favourite ninjas Ermac, Smoke and Reptile will make their MK11 appearance
According to the leaker who accurately revealed details about Mortal Kombat 11 Aftermath and characters that will be releasing with this version of the game, the rumoured guest appearances of John Wick and Ash Wiliams in Mortal Kombat 11 will not happen.
The leaker explains that many of the characters that he revealed in the first leak won't make the final cut due to "disagreements in NetherRealm Studios on how to move forward with the motion capture and video work during the pandemic".
"At first, NRS wanted Havik, Daegon, Ashrah, Kai, Quan Chi, John Wick (voice and likeness by Keanu Reeves) and other characters to be part of the Kombat Packs, but plans changed, there was even to be a story after the end of Aftermath," the leaker stated in the latest post on Reddit.
Instead of these characters, NetherRealm decided to go with "fan-favourite ninjas Ermac, Smoke and Reptile, as well guests Deathstroke and Cole Young (voice and likeness by Lewis Tan- Shang Tsung style) or Harley Quinn".
Furthermore, the leaker states that this will be the final pack and all the characters that did not make the cut will be in Mortal Kombat 12 or other NetherRealm Games since some of these deals have already been approved internally.
