As soon as the game starts, you'll be introduced to Tchia's main weapon, her sling, which will be completely useless in combat because the only way to defeat the enemies in Tchia is to set them on fire. The sling will only be used in some minigames and to shoot bananas and coconuts, which seems like a wasted opportunity.

How to fight the enemies in Tchia
In Tchia, you will encounter only two types of enemies: soldiers that can move and sentinels that are stationary. Since the game very poorly explains the way you fight the enemies, a few tips will be crucial to successfully overcoming any enemy you encounter.
Always move during combat
When you encounter soldiers, never stand still because they will try to shoot the cloth at you, and if your stamina is low, they will imprison you in one of their camp's cages. If they manage to catch you, just use your spiritual power to transform into any nearby object. This way, you will easily break out of jail. Sentinels will shoot explosive magic at you, but if you keep moving, no harm will come to you.

Keep your inventory filled with explosives and fire items
When you decide to clear an enemy camp, always stock up on explosives and fire items that can be found in every camp and settlement. You can carry up to six items in your backpack, and once you clear all the enemies in one area, find the items in that area and restock your inventory before moving on.
Soul-jump is better than a regular throw
Since every one of Tchia's enemies is made of cloth, the only way to defeat them is to set them on fire. You can do this by finding items like lanterns or burning wood and throwing them at the enemy. Tchia cannot throw an item very far simply by equipping it and throwing it. To throw something much farther, simply transform into it or soul-jump an equipped item. This little trick will allow you to hit enemies who are far away from you, preventing them from arresting you.

Sneak up on sentinels
The sentinels act as watch towers that can only be found in larger camps, and they are extremely dangerous because they fire explosive missiles at you, and if you are not careful, you will be caught in no time. Sentinels, on the other hand, have one major flaw: they can only see in front of them, so the easiest way to get rid of them is to sneak up on them and set them on fire.
