Those who played the first game will probably remember that Kingdom Come Deliverance was one very demanding beast. Even now, years after the game's release, the latest graphics cards still struggle to run the game at high framerates at Ultra preset.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is certainly a very pretty game

Sadly, the game does not feature ray tracing of any kind, which many PC enthusiasts will find very disappointing. It's certainly a shame that a game with such a dynamic world, realistic gameplay, presentation and visuals does not feature at least some form of ray-tracing but it is what it is.

In case you're not familiar with Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, it's a very unique RPG, to say the least. Forget about the fantasy elements, this is a grounded, realistic depiction of Medieval Europe during the 15th century.

The game features visceral melee combat that requires a tactical and smart approach, instead of the usual button mash found in games like Dragon Age: The Veilguard for example.

It's one of those gems that won't even give you a crosshair when you aim with your bow and arrow and where you have to eat food and drink water regularly if you don't want to end up dead somewhere in Bohemia's forests and meadows.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 officially releases on February 4, 2025, for PC, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.
