- In Dune: Awakening, all natural resources, like copper, iron, granite stone, and later rare materials like aluminium, are located around the edges of the desert, next to the rocky terrain, and those places are the best ones for setting up your base.
- Make sure there are active deposits of those materials around the base, and set up your base there.
- The best strategy is to make turns because everything respawns very quickly.
- Given that your backpack's capacity is limited, the best course of action is to create several storage containers within the base, and once you finish one gathering turn, you store everything, wait for a bit for the materials to respawn, and repeat the process.
Following this strategy will let you have unlimited resources for your use. Also, apart from the material deposits, the enemies and the containers in their bases respawn too, so if you want to loot the materials from the same chests located in some camp or enemy base, simply wait for the enemies to respawn and repeat the process.
