Dragon's Dogma 2 is an action role-playing game developed and published by Capcom. The game, a sequel to Dragon's Dogma, was released on March 22, 2024, for the PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S platforms.
As a role-playing game, players are offered different vocations or classes to choose from. After starting the game with a vocation, you will need to gain the approval of the Vocation Maisters to make your character more powerful. Here's a guide on how to find all Maister's teachings in Dragon's Dogma 2 to increase your skills.
How to Find All Maister's Teachings in Dragon's Dogma 2
Maister's Teachings are special tomes offered by Vocation Maisters that allow you to learn the most advanced skills of your specific vocation.
Acquiring a Maister's teaching requires the use of a special tome, which you are going to get when you impress the Vocation Maister with your abilities. However, a high vocation rank is a must to fully utilise the benefits of this skill.
There are 6 Maister's teachings in Dragon's Dogma 2, and here's how you earn them:
Maister’s Teaching 1: Lennart
You can find the Maister's Teaching 1 by visiting the Fighter Maister, Lennart, at the fortress village in Melve. After interacting with him, complete the Readvent Calamity side quest, then speak with Lennart again, and he will give you the Soldier's Code tome to learn the Riotous Fury skill.
Maister’s Teaching 2: Flaude
Head to the Nameless Village, far east of Vernworth. After entering the village, pick up the folded letter in a house. After that, you can find Maister's Teaching 2 by visiting the Fake Thief Maister, Flaude, at the Old Noble Manor in the top region of the village. Give Flaude the folded letter, and you will receive the Legend’s Opus item for learning the Blades of the Pyre skill.
Maister's Teaching 3: Flaude
During the Nameless Village quest, you will need to interact with the Thief Maister again. As a part of the story progression, you'll receive the Pilferer’s Handbook item for learning the Formless Feint skill.
Maister’s Teaching 4: Beren
First complete the Claw Them Into Shape and Beren’s Final Lesson side quests, then visit Beren, the Warrior Maister, at his childhood home in Checkpoint Rest Town. After speaking to him, you'll receive the Champion’s Fable skill.
Maister's Teaching 5: Trysha
First complete the Spellbound side quest, a part of the In Dragon's Wake main quest, then speak to Trysha, the Mage Maister, and she'll give you the Conjurer’s Jotting skill.
Maister's Teaching 6: Eini
After getting Maister's Teaching 5 by completing the Spellbound side quest, visit Eini, the Sorcerer Maister, immediately to get the Enchanter's Almanac skill.
Capcom will add more Maister's Teachings with future updates to give players a shot at building their perfect vocation builds in Dragon's Dogma. We recommend getting these Maister's teachings as early as you can to create the strongest vocation for late-game quests.
