One of the first missions in Destiny 2 can get bugged and prevent your progress. Thankfully, there is a quick way to solve it and move forward.
As Destiny 2 players begin their adventures in Cosmodrome, they will eventually get the mission Cold Boot where they need to inspect the Superconductor, chase Navota, save Shaw Han the Fortnite Guy - you know, the usual. Midway through the mission, however, your objective will be to "Get to the Array" and when you reach the waypoint, it just doesn't do anything.
The reason is that you missed a monologue from Ghost at an earlier point in the mission, probably because you got through it too fast and the game didn't commence the sequence. As such, the solution is to go back to the place where you see Arc energy going nuts.
Assuming you're at the point where waypoints led you, you can follow the images below to retrace your steps.
Once you take a left from the image above and go through a small door, you will reach a room from which you can see the array and your next passage.
From this position, you will need to look for a door between the two pillars on the left. It will lead into a dark hallway.
Go through the hallway to reach another door that leads to a dark room.
As you approach the door, you will initially see another door on the opposite side, to the left. When you get closer, the room will get darker and it will be invisible until you move even closer to the door. Go through it.
Once you're through the door, you will be in a tight passageway that leads only one way. Move through it and you will reach the hole in the wall with Arc energy behind it.
Go through the last door and turn slightly left. Wait or walk around the room until Ghost initiates a monologue that starts with "If Shaw was right...".
Once he does, the objective will flash and you can safely follow the waypoint to properly reach the array and the mission will progress as normal.
