As you progress through the levels in ARC Raiders, you slowly unlock features like the Trials, which are in-game point-based weekly challenges that are refreshed every week. By earning three stars and points in these challenges, you can climb through the ranks to earn exclusive rewards.
Each week Embark adds a new set of challenges for players to complete and climb up their leaderboards. The Season 4 Week 6 trials are live now, and here's a comprehensive guide on how to earn 3 stars in this week's trials.
What are Trials in ARC Raiders?
Trials is the unofficial rank system in ARC Raiders, which is unlocked at player level 15. Once unlocked, players have to earn points by completing challenges every week and climb up the leaderboards. By earning stars, players can earn exclusive rewards.
The challenges are usually divided into three stages, which are marked by stars. By earning points you can get stars, and each challenge has a limit of 3 stars. For each star, players get a reward, with a total of three rewards for completing a challenge.
By earning points you can earn a position in the leaderboard of 100 players in the same rank. Getting into the top 20 of the leaderboard will earn you a 2x promotion to the next ranks. With 1x promotion allocated for the next 30 positions. The bottom 20 players of the leaderboard are demoted to the previous rank.
How to Get 3 Stars in Season 4 Week 6 Trials in ARC Raiders
Like every week, this week's trials have five challenges players must complete to climb up the leaderboard. These challenges are quite easy, but you have to follow some simple strategies to effectively finish them without wasting your important resources. Here's an in-depth guide on how to get 3 stars in Season 4 Week 6 trials in ARC Raiders:
Open containers inside the hotel
Riven Tides is the newest map added to ARC Raiders with the new Riven Tides update. To complete this challenge, head to the Hotel POI on the map. Once inside, search any lootable containers to complete this challenge. Almost all lootable containers will give you points once searched. To search additional containers, you can also head to the locked rooms in the Hotel.
Damage ground-based ARC enemies
This challenge is quite easy if you know what you're doing. If you're at a higher rank right now, then the best way to rack up points in this challenge is by eliminating Bastions, Bombardiers, and Leapers in a single run. On the contrary, if you simply want to get 3 stars in this challenge, taking out a single Bombardier or Bastion will suffice, as you'll only need 4,000 points to do so.
Search Computers
The best place to complete this trial is Research and Admin in Dam Battlegrounds. At the top floor of the facility, you'll find computers spread out in different rooms and tables. Simply open these computers to complete the trial in no time.
Deal melee damage to ARC enemies
This is quite a hard challenge for players who are new to the game. However, you can complete it easily by following a few crucial steps. To make your time easier, load into a game with loads of adrenaline shots. Then find a Bombardier and keep meleeing it until you get enough points. Just make sure to avoid the gravity blasts it sends through after intervals, and you will be good to go.
Damage Spotters
You will usually find spotters moving around Bombardiers. To complete this challenge, either go to Buried City or Blue Gate (near the outer gates). You will see the Spotter flying over the Bombardier. Now you can complete the trial by shooting the Spotters, however, the easiest method would be to take in some Seeker Grenades, as they can track and destroy Spotters at once without allowing them to move around too much.
Getting 3 stars with decent points in trials will guarantee you a spot in the top 20 of the leaderboard. Remaining in the top 20 will also allow you to jump 2 ranks once the trials are refreshed for next week.
